Her role as a Resource Broker has allowed her to make a significant impact in her community. Terri’s work extends to various organizations and initiatives, showcasing her commitment to empowerment and service. As the Executive Director & Co-Founder of Boots On The Ground Veteran Services Inc., she has played a pivotal role in supporting veterans and their needs. Additionally, her involvement with the United War Veterans Council, Women’s Empowerment, Grandparents Around The World Organization, N.A.A.C.P. Bronx Chapter, and other community organizations demonstrates her broad influence and reach. Terri’s dedication and hard work have been recognized through numerous awards, including the Mayoral 2020 Service Award, Mayoral Lifetime Achievement Award, New York State Assembly Award, and The Bronx Award for Seniors, among others. Her collaborative spirit has been acknowledged with the 2020 Certificate of Recognition as an Exemplary Collaborator. Furthermore, her involvement in initiatives such as the American Dentists Give Back to Veterans Group and the One Million Women Peace March highlights her diverse contributions to society. Notably, Terri is also involved in the Ms. Black America Pageant, contemplating bringing this prestigious event to either the Bronx or Harlem. Her multifaceted involvement reflects her passion for uplifting her community and supporting meaningful causes.
