Minister and Mrs anderson, i enjoyed your sermon, and I like the references to specific verses that support the message. in my daily life, i had a professional partnership with an atheist who had previously been a catholic. he lost his faith because he was given an autistic son, he admitted this to me because i have rarely encountered an italian who is not at least a may/december catholic. rather than beat him with fire and brimstone, i merely shared what god did for me; and helped me clean up some (not all) of my fallen ways. I have encountered a few atheists, and some of them are away from god because of pain, not necessarily rebelliousness. but only Some of them.
I especially liked 19:30 “Some of them don’t think this stuff is bad.” Yeah . . . entirely true.
